SOAPSTONE.
A TRADITION FOREVER
During the times in which stone crafting was
flourishing, in the village houses along the
Alps, the soapstone “lavècc” was the only
pot in use.
The structure of this natural material, rich in microscopic cavities, gave the stone its
extraordinary ability to maintain and preserve heat.
Although it takes a long time to heat up, once the desired temperature is reached,
the Agnelli pot in soapstone reveals a real preference for slow cooking over medium
heat, such as for soups, stews and casseroles.
